Not yet a Knight?
Every Knight starts in a parish council. Any Catholic man aged 18 or over can join, and you can begin online. If you would rather meet someone first, tell us your parish and we will introduce you to its council.
Already a Knight?
If you have taken your council's degree, you can go on to the Fourth Degree: the patriotic degree, centred on service to the Church and the country. Sir Knights take part in honor guards, the chalice program and the assembly's charities, alongside Knights from other councils.
Form 4 is Supreme’s Fourth Degree membership document. Fill it in on screen, download the PDF, sign it, and your council’s Financial Secretary certifies it. Prefer paper? Blank PDF.
The Fourth DegreeWhat it involves
- The exemplification. You join at a Fourth Degree exemplification, held a few times a year. We will tell you when the next one is and help with the paperwork, including Form 4, which you can fill in online.
- Assembly life. A monthly meeting, fellowship with Sir Knights from other councils, and the work on our About page.
- The Color Corps is optional. Some Sir Knights serve in the honor guard, which needs a uniform; many do not, and every Sir Knight is equally welcome. See what the Color Corps does.
- Cost. There is a one-off exemplification fee and modest annual assembly dues. Ask us for the current figures.
We are not chasing numbers. We would rather have one man who comes to meetings than ten names on a list, so the first step is just a conversation.
