You served. This night is for you. The Sir Knights of Assembly 1087 are setting aside the best seats in the house — free VIP seating for every veteran who signs up — for an evening of bingo, thanks and good company.

Bring your spouse, your family, your battle buddy. Everyone is welcome to play; veterans sit up front.

Veterans & guestsSign up for your seat

Seats at the eight VIP tables go to veterans first. If more veterans sign up than VIP chairs, we will reserve the front straight tables for veterans too. Seats are assigned once sign-up closes, in this order:

  1. Served in a foreign war or combat operation
  2. Longest time in service
  3. Highest rank

Your party sits with you. Not a veteran? Sign up anyway — we seat everyone, veterans first. We email every person a confirmation with their table.

Is someone else in your party a veteran too? Ask them to sign up themselves, so their own service counts — and tell us below to seat you together.
Knights of Columbus

Who is hosting youThe Patriotic Degree

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal order founded in 1882 by Blessed Michael McGivney to care for widows and orphans. Its members progress through degrees, each built on a principle: charity, unity and fraternity. The Fourth Degree adds the fourth and final principle — patriotism.

Why we are the patriotic degree

Since 1900 Fourth Degree Knights — Sir Knights — have pledged to love God and country and to live as faithful Catholic citizens. You have seen our Color Corps in full regalia at Masses, ordinations, funerals and Memorial Day ceremonies. Many Sir Knights are veterans themselves, and supporting those who served — through honor guards, wreaths, donations and nights like this one — is at the heart of what we do.

Assembly 1087

Father Abram J. Ryan Assembly #1087 draws Sir Knights from councils across Dallas. Our monthly bingo funds our charities, including the three organizations receiving checks on November 12.

How to become a Fourth Degree Knight

  1. Be a Catholic man, 18 or older, practicing your faith.
  2. Join the Knights of Columbus through your parish council, or online at kofc.org/join.
  3. Take your Third Degree — today, the first three degrees can be received together in a single ceremony.
  4. Ask a Sir Knight to sponsor you into the Fourth Degree. We will walk you through the application and invite you to the next Exemplification of Patriotism.

Talk to any Sir Knight on November 12 — look for the regalia — or send us a note and one of us will reach out.
